Sam & Liliane Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on raising awareness on the rights and well-being of children with disabilities in Uganda using a network of parents/ caretakers support groups, community based rehabilitation programs and stakeholders with a goal of reaching out to over 1 million disabled children by 2040.

Sam & Liliane foundation was established in 2019 by the founders Mr. Magoola Erisama and Ms. Kamukama Bonita, driven by a passion to address the educational and social needs of children with disabilities in Uganda.

As an organization, we are committed to learning, growing and adopting to meet the evolving needs of our beneficiaries. Programs and Services, Inclusive education and Programs; Provide training, resources, and support schools to promote inclusive education practices. Community outreach; Conduct community outreach and sensitization programs to promote awareness and acceptance of children with disabilities.

OUR ACTIVITIES

1. Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to identify the specific needs of children with disabilities

2. Collaborate with experts in inclusive education and special needs to develop high quality and evidence-based resources.

3. Pilot test the resources with selected schools.

4. Teacher training programs

5. Develop a structured training curriculum based on inclusive education principles

6. Provide on- going support and follow up sessions to address individual challenges

7. Collaboration and support networks

8. Organize regular workshops and conferences where teachers can share experiences, success stories and challenges faced in implementing inclusive education practices.
